Castel d'Enna (Enn)
On a hill above the municipality of Montan in South Tyrol stands Castel d'Enna, also known as Enn Castle. The castle has a history of ownership changes and architectural transformations.
History+
The castle's origins date back to the 12th century, when it was built by the von Enn family. In 1648, it was sold to the Venetian patrician Pietro Zenobio. The castle underwent renovations and restorations in the 16th and 19th centuries.

Castel d'Enna is situated at an elevation of approximately 578 meters above sea level in the municipality of Montan, in the district of Bolzano, within the Trentino-Alto Adige region, Italy.
On site+
The castle remains in the private possession of Pietro Zenobio's descendants and is therefore not accessible to the public. Only once a year, the Montan music band offered a concert on the castle grounds in August.
