Castel Paschbach
Castel Paschbach, a charming castle in the municipality of Appiano (Eppan)-St. Michael, is an outstanding example of the early Überetsch style. It combines southern and Tyrolean architectural elements and today presents itself in excellent condition, making it appear more like a spacious villa.
History+
Castel Paschbach was built in the 15th century. In the 16th century, the property was owned by the Aichner von Paschbach family, followed by the Lords of Mörl in the 17th century. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Lords of Wohlgemuth took over the castle. Subsequently, it changed owners several times until it finally came into the possession of the current Zanghi family. Numerous renovations and alterations shaped its present appearance.
