From the Middle Ages to the 18th Century

Predecessor buildings were already mentioned in 906. In the 17th century, there were three buildings on the site. In 1693, ownership transferred to César Gaudard. In 1766, the castle was renovated while owned by Jean Reynier. From 1772 to 1780, the castle was owned by Paul d'Huc, who rebuilt it. After this, ownership changed hands several times until the city of Lausanne bought the castle in 1947.
