Château Bouscaut

Vineyard

Château Bouscaut, a winery in the Pessac-Léognan region of France, is known for its red and white wines. It is classified among the growths of Graves.

History+

Wine production on the estate began in the 18th century, but Château Bouscaut established its reputation in the period before and after World War I. A fire in 1962 destroyed the original 18th-century château, which was subsequently rebuilt. In 1968, the estate changed hands to an American syndicate. In 1980, it was acquired by Lucien Lurton, and today the winery is managed by Sophie Cogombles-Lurton and Laurent Cogombles.
