Château Calon-Ségur is a winery in Saint-Estèphe, France. Its wines have been classified as Troisième Grand Cru Classé since the 1855 classification.

History+

The château's fame was shaped in the 18th century by the Marquis de Ségur, who owned Calon-Ségur, Château Lafite, and Château Latour. His statement, “I make my wine at Lafite and Latour. But my heart is in Calon,” is immortalized to this day on the wine's label in the form of a heart. The estate's wines experienced a decline in quality in the 1960s. Since the early 1990s, quality has improved.
