Château Collombey
On a hill above the village lies the Bernardine Monastery. The monastery has stood on the site of the old castle of the Lords d'Arbignon since 1643. Ambrosie d'Arbignon married Jean Collombey around the middle of the 13th century. This was probably when the d'Arbignon family erected a tower with a residential building. In 1349, Perronet built a chapel in the castle. In the middle of the 16th century, the castle was abandoned as the d'Arbignon family moved to Monthey. In 1643, the castle was purchased by the Bernardines, who erected buildings and the chapel here.
