A castle was built by the Knights of Oberkirch. Later, the ownership changed to Bernard de Montbrison. In 1636 the castle was destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. 1810, the castle was rebuilt, destroyed 1842 and 1843 - 46 was rebuilt.
