Château de Castelnau-de-Lévis

The origins of the Château de Castelnau-de-Lévis date back to the early 13th century, when Gicard Alamon initiated the construction of the complex under the name Castelnau de Bonnafonds. In the 15th century, the castle underwent reconstruction by the Lévis family. At this time, the seigneury came into the possession of Hugues d'Amboise, Baron d'Aubijoux, whose descendants held the fief until the 17th century.
