In the Dommeldange district of Luxembourg City stands the Château de Dommeldange, a historic castle. Its history dates back to the 17th century, and today it serves as the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.

The origins of Dommeldange Castle lie in the 17th century, when it was built by Thomas Marchant. In 1870, ownership changed hands when Charles Collart acquired the estate. Finally, in 1973, the castle was sold to the Luxembourg state.
