Near the commune of Sousceyrac in the Lot department, Occitania region, stands the Château de Grugnac. Its origins date back to the 15th century, when it was built by the Viscounts of Turenne to oversee the falconry of the Duke of Luynes.

The construction of the Château de Grugnac took place in the 15th century under the aegis of the Viscounts of Turenne. Its strategic function was to protect and monitor the falconry of the Duke of Luynes. In 1989, the structure was listed as a Monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.
