Château de la Cour d'Angleterre
In Bischheim, a commune in the French department of Bas-Rhin, stands the Château de la Cour d'Angleterre. It was built in 1751 and combines architectural elements of German Baroque with classical French style.
History+
The construction of the castle in 1751 was commissioned by Jean de Dietrich as a summer residence. It was at times owned by Conrad Alexandre Gérard de Rayneval. The building sustained damage during World War II but was restored in 1947. Since 1995, it has been registered as a Monument historique.

Today, the Château de la Cour d'Angleterre is privately owned. The facade, roof, terraces, and fences of the estate can be seen. Inside, five paneled rooms on the ground floor and the main staircase are to be noted. The 18th-century outbuildings, with their roofs and facades, are also to be noted. The castle is surrounded by gardens.
