Château de la Motte

The Château de la Motte in Lorrez-le-Bocage-Préaux, a French commune in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the Île-de-France region, was originally built at the end of the 15th century. The castle has been a classified Monument historique since 1975.
The castle, located in the district of Lorrez, was built for Aymard de Brisay, lord of La Motte and Lorrez. The former moated castle was rebuilt in the middle of the 19th century by the Comtesse de Ségur.
