The Château de Rixensart is a castle in the Walloon region of Walloon Brabant.

The rule Rixensart was first mentioned in 1217 and belonged to the house Limal before it was sold to the Croy family in 1536. In 1586, married Charles de Grave, his daughter with Philippe-Hippolyte Spinola, Earl of Bruay, Grandee of Spain and Governor of Lille, Douai and Orchies. It is believed that the present appearance of the castle was completed at that time.

The castle passed in 1715 from the Countess of Bruay, widow of Philippe de Spinola in the hands of the family Merode.
