The Château de Septfontaines, a castle in the city of Luxembourg, has a connection to the Villeroy & Boch porcelain manufactory.
History+
The construction of the castle took place between 1783 and 1784 under the direction of Jean-François and Pierre-Joseph Boch. As early as 1767, the Boch family had established a porcelain manufactory near the future castle. In 1914, the estate was occupied by French troops and subsequently sold. It was not until 1970 that the castle returned to the family's possession when Luitwin von Boch reacquired it on behalf of the Villeroy & Boch company.
