History+

The origins of the Château de Tours date back to the 11th century. It was built as a residence for the Lords of France and reflected Carolingian architecture in its construction. Until the 2000s, it housed an aquarium with a variety of fish species and also served as a Grévin museum. Due to its historical significance, the castle was classified as a monument historique on August 20, 1913.
