Château du Vigneau
In Bayonne in the French Pyrénées-Atlantiques, the Château du Vigneau, a former winery transformed into a champagne house, is located. This structure has been officially registered as a Historical Monument since 2009, along with its wrought-iron railings and entrance portal.
History+
Following the clashes of the Battle of Bayonne in 1814, the original winery was restored. In 1848, further modifications were made before the architect Gomez gave the Château du Vigneau its current form in 1918.
