Château Goubing (Sierre)

The residential tower is first mentioned in 1297 and was owned by Isabelle d'Albi, wife of Bâtie de Granges. From the d'Albi, heirs of a part of the great lordship of Granges, it passed at the beginning of the 15th century from Perrette de la Bâtie to her husband, Jean de Chevron, then to the de Platea, de Montheys, de Courten (1725 -1874). Since 1929, it has been the property of the de Rham.

The building rises in the southeast of Sierre. It is a residential tower with three floors and a square stair tower. The loopholes, which formerly crowned the building, were covered with a roof. The tower contains a large hall with a gallery, also called the Knights' Hall.
