Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a winery in France, located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is known for its red wines and was classified as a Fifth Growth as early as 1855.
The official Bordeaux Wine Classification of 1855 recognized Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste as one of eighteen Cinquièmes Crus Classés. Today, the estate is owned by the Borie family, who also manage Château Ducru-Beaucaillou.
The château is situated in Pauillac, in the Gironde department, within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. It lies at an elevation of approximately 25 meters above sea level.
Today, Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste operates as an active winery.
