Château Haut-Marbuzet is a winery in the French Bordeaux wine region, located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe. Its wines have been classified as Cru Bourgeois since 1932 and as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel since 2003.

History+

The origins of the winery date back to 1848 when the MacCarthy estate was divided. From 1952, Hervé Duboscq acquired seven hectares of fallow vineyards. As a self-taught winemaker, he recultivated the areas and established direct sales of his wines. From 1962, his son Henri Duboscq joined him, and together they developed an aging style, which includes the use of 100% new oak barrels and exclusively natural yeasts.
