Château L'Isle

Schloss L'Isle+
The castle was built in 1696 in the French Classical style for Charles de Chandieu. It features two small side wings perpendicular to the main building and a rich interior. To the south of the castle lies a park with avenues of trees, extending to the wide basin of the Venoge. The castle was purchased by the municipality of L'Isle in 1877 and subsequently used for the municipal administration and as a schoolhouse.
