Château L'Isle
In the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, stands Château L'Isle, built at the end of the 17th century, which now serves as the seat of the municipal administration. It is distinguished by its classical architecture and interior.
History+
The construction of Château L'Isle was commissioned in 1696 by Charles de Chandieu. The building was designed in the French Classicism style. In 1877, the municipality of L'Isle acquired the property. Since then, it has been used as the municipal administration and at times also housed a school.

The castle houses the municipal administration. The building features two side wings arranged at right angles to the main building, as well as an interior. To the south of the castle, a park with tree-lined avenues extends to a large water basin of the Venoge.
