In Margaux, Château Palmer is a world-class winery. It produces wines that regularly receive the highest ratings and often compete in price with the region's top wines.
History+
Since the 1855 classification, Château Palmer has been classified as a Troisième Grand Cru Classé, the third highest category. Its products often compete qualitatively with the Premiers and Deuxièmes Crus. The 1961 and 1989 vintages are noteworthy, with the 1961 being rated as perfect by wine critics. The winery is advised by oenologists Jacques and Eric Boissenot.

Château Palmer is located in the commune of Margaux in the Gironde department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. It stands at an elevation of approximately 24 meters above sea level.
