Château Phélan Ségur

The origins of the winery date back to 1810. At that time, the Irish-born Frank Phélan merged two estates, Clos de Garramey and Château Ségur, which previously belonged to the Marquis de Ségur. Phélan had a building constructed that combined residence, administration, winemaking, and storage under one roof. In 1924, the Delon family acquired the estate. In 1932, it was classified as a Cru Grand Bourgeois Exceptionnel. In 1985, the Château passed into the ownership of Xavier Gardinier and his three sons.
