The Delitzsch Palace was built in 1721 on behalf of George I, Elector of Brunswick-Lüneburg, for his illegitimate daughter Countess Anna Louise von Delitz. Around 1770, it was converted into a three-wing complex by the Counts of Wallmoden-Gimborn.
