Deutschordensschloss Neckarsulm, a castle, is among the oldest buildings in the city of Neckarsulm in Baden-Württemberg. It is linked to the history of the Teutonic Order.

History+

The origins of the castle likely date back to the 13th century, with a predecessor building already in existence. After the acquisition of the town by the Archbishopric of Mainz in 1335, the complex was expanded. In 1484, the Teutonic Order took control of Neckarsulm and, from 1525, used the castle as its administrative seat after Scheuerberg Castle was destroyed in the Peasants' War.
