History+

The monastery was founded in 1924 by sisters of the Congregation of the Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration. The monastery building, including its adoration church, was constructed according to the designs of architect Alois Dietrich from Paderborn. The religious community, known for their pink habits, originated in 1896 in Steyl, Netherlands, as the third foundation of the Steyl Mission. Their main task is constant adoration and choral prayer, supplemented by a pastoral letter apostolate to support people in need.
