The Trinity Monastery Bad Driburg is a monastery of the Steyl Adoration Sisters in the southern city center of Bad Driburg, Germany.
Founding+
The monastery was founded in 1924 by sisters from the motherhouse of the Congregation of the Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration. The monastery building with the adoration church was erected according to plans by the Paderborn architect Alois Dietrich.
The nuns belong to the third foundation of the Steyl Missionary Society and are popularly known as "pink sisters" because of their pink habits. The religious congregation was founded in 1896 in Steyl in the Netherlands.
Tasks+
The "pink sisters" live contemplatively, that is, in the silence and seclusion of the monastery. They have the special task of constant adoration and solemn choral prayer. Apart from the times of common Liturgy of the Hours, the sisters take turns in silent adoration in the church day and night.
Furthermore, the sisters operate a pastoral letter apostolate. This is particularly a help for fellow human beings in difficult hours, grief and need through comforting and uplifting words.

Today, about 30 sisters aged approximately 30 to approximately 90 years from Germany, Austria, the Philippines, the USA, and Slovakia live in the Trinity Monastery Bad Driburg.
