The Erkoschlösschen is a small, historic estate in Styria, named after the Erko family. It was built in the 19th century and is located on a hill in the municipality of Krumegg, offering a picturesque backdrop.

History+

The Erko family initiated the construction of the small castle in the 19th century. It was built near a medieval defensive structure that no longer exists today. Around 1870, the estate was owned by the Barons of Lederer-Trattner. A notable resident was the German writer Nina d’Aubigny von Engelbrunner, who moved here in 1828 after the death of her nephews and passed away in 1847.
