The Palais+

The Palais was built around 1690 from two originally separate canonical courts. Until 1864, the Palais served as the Attems-Waldstein comital canonical court, thereafter as the Archiepiscopal Palais. On February 25, 1950, it was re-consecrated as the Archiepiscopal Palais after the forced departure of the Prince-Archbishop on October 12, 1939.
