Felsenburg in Bern, a defensive structure built in the 13th century, once served as part of the city's defenses. Today, the castle is a residential building.

Felsenburg was erected around 1260 as a defensive tower for the city of Bern and was first documented in 1335. In the 17th and 18th centuries, it was also known as Blutturm or Wachtturm. In 1583, the facade underwent remodeling, altering its medieval appearance. Until approximately 1630, the city's main road passed through a gate in the tower. Another renovation in 1764 gave Felsenburg its current pointed roof.
