The Fortress can be visited

The fortress is part of the large fortification system of the Republic of Ragusa (Dubrovnik), which was built from 1333 to protect the salt pans and the isthmus. The construction of Koruna began around 1347 and developed in three phases into a late medieval fortress by 1499.
