The Küstrin-Lünette D Fortress was once part of the Küstrin Fortress. It is located in Küstriner Vorland in Brandenburg, Germany.

History+

The Küstrin Fortress, which included Lünette D, was built in the second half of the 16th century to protect the residential city of Küstrin. Its use as a fortress ended in 1920 after World War I. After the war, Lünette D, like many other fortress structures, was further destroyed through demolitions and dismantling for material recovery. Since the 1990s, some of the fortress facilities have been restored, while other outer works have been left to decay.
