The Matochina Fortress, also known as Bukelon, is a historic defensive structure situated on a plateau northeast of the village of Matochina in Bulgaria. It is particularly notable for its well-preserved keep.

The history of Matochina Fortress dates back a long way, having been mentioned in ancient accounts of the Battle of Adrianople in 378. The 18-meter-high keep, still visible today, was constructed between the 12th and 14th centuries, testifying to the site's long military significance.
