Fleischhof Manor

The origins of the Fleischhof date back to when it served as a feudal estate of the nearby abbey until 1320. Subsequently, the property came into the possession of the city of Quedlinburg. The name “Fleischhof” originated in the 17th century due to a mistranslation, as the court was originally known as the “diligent court” and functioned as a trading post. Numerous residential and storage buildings were constructed in half-timbered style, including structures from 1566, 1580, and after 1616. A Renaissance portal and Baroque paintings in the Knights' Hall of the west wing bear witness to the construction phases of the court.
