Fortezza di Asolo
The Fortezza di Asolo is a fortress on the Mount Ricco. Fortifications already existed in pre-Roman times. The present fortress was built between the late 12th and early 13 Century in the possession of the Bishop of Treviso. 1388 transferred the ownership of the Republic of Venice. From 16 Century, the fortress lost its strategic importance and fell into disrepair.
