Liebfrauen Church

The Baroque hall church was built in 1723–1725 on the foundations of a Gothic predecessor building. It consists of a nave, a retracted, semicircular choir in the east, and a church tower in the west. The interior of the nave is spanned by a barrel vault with lunettes, the ground floor of the church tower by a star vault on consoles. The vestibule is located in it. The church furnishings include a high altar donated in 1726, which is flanked by statues of Saint Joseph and Saint Joachim. A miraculous image is displayed on the altarpiece, a Madonna created in 1440/50 from the Multscher school. God the Father with the Holy Spirit dove is depicted on the altar extension.

The organ from the Giengen organ manufacturer Gebr. Link from 1886 on the upper of the two galleries above the entrance area in the rear part of the church was never renovated or maintained. Therefore, a comprehensive, six-month restoration was necessary in 2003, which was carried out by the Orgelbau Wiedenmann workshop. The instrument has a scope of 16 registers on two manuals and pedal.
