To be privately owned
Yellow Castle Nordheim

The Yellow Castle of the Lords of Thann is located on the southwest edge of the village, at today's festival grounds. The old building, a massive rubble stone masonry construction with a half-timbered upper floor from 1578, was owned by the Lords of Thann. In 1803, the castle came into private ownership and has been owned by the municipality since 1981. Since then, it has been restored. The tower building in the north was temporarily used as a synagogue around 1900 and is therefore also called "Jewish Temple".
