The Günderothsche Hof - A Historic Building in Schleswig+
History of the Building+
The Günderothsche Hof was built around 1634 as a guesthouse for Duke Friedrich III of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorf by Johannes Hecklauer. In 1675, the building was owned by Hofmarschall Colonel Friedrich von Günderoth. In the 18th century, the side wings were added. Later, the city of Schleswig bought the house and today uses it as the city museum.
