Gut Laacherhof in Monheim am Rhein, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a manor and estate whose agricultural use dates back to the 13th century. It is situated within a nature and water protection area.
History+
The history of Laacherhof as a managed estate can be traced back to the 13th century. In 1886, Baron Arthur von Eppinghoven acquired the property, but sold it in 1909 to the mayor and pastor of Dinslaken. Already in 1910, the estate changed hands again, passing to Clemens August Engels. In 1911, he had the villa Schloss Laach built on the premises.

Today, Gut Laacherhof is privately owned. It is used as a 200-hectare agricultural experimental farm by Bayer CropScience AG and has also served as a venue for concerts in the past. The building is registered as a monument on the list of protected buildings in the city of Monheim.
