Laacherhof Manor
The Laacher Hof (also: Gut Laacherhof) is a manor farm in Monheim am Rhein in the Mettmann district, whose cultivation has been documented since the 13th century.
On the grounds of the farm stands the stately villa Schloss Laach.
The Laacher Hof was acquired in 1886 by Baron Arthur von Eppinghoven, who sold it in 1909 to the mayor and pastor of Dinslaken. From them, the farm went in 1910 to Clemens August Engels (1885–1941), who had Schloss Laach built in 1911 (according to another source, 1910).
Today, the farm is a 200-hectare agricultural experimental farm of Bayer CropScience AG and has also been used as a venue for concerts.
The building is listed as a monument in the monument list of the city of Monheim.

The farm is located in a nature and water protection area and is touched by the Langenfeld circular hiking trail, the "Posthornweg".
