The von Blücher family
The Quitzenow estate was owned by Helmuth Hartwig von Blücher in 1779. In 1800, ownership passed to his son Friedrich Wilhelm von Blücher. The manor house was built in 1850. In 1896, ownership passed to Carl Julius Mathias Friedrich von Blücher. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the manor house was used as a school.
