Altenhagen Manor

The estate was first mentioned in 1428 as being owned by the von Dotenberg family. In 1603, the property was divided between the two brothers Sievert and Baltzer Datenburg. In the 18th century, ownership passed to the von Boltenstern family, who built the manor house. In the mid-19th century, ownership changed to Ulrich von Thun. He rebuilt the manor house and had the park redesigned and expanded in the English style. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After the reunification, the manor house stood empty for a long time. A Stralsund entrepreneur bought the property and renovated it.
