History+

A predecessor building of the manor house, likely constructed in the 18th century under Felix Dietrich von Behr, was destroyed by a fire in 1927. This misfortune resulted in the loss of an art collection, including a Gutenberg Bible, the loss of which led two insurance companies into bankruptcy. With the insurance money received, Felix Wilhelm von Behr-Bandelin had a new manor house built in 1930 at a different location.
