Gut Bohlendorf+

The Bohlendorf Estate is one of the oldest manors on the island of Rügen. In a written mention from 1316, Claws Bolenson is named as the owner of the estate. The manor house in its current form was built in 1793. Until 1935, the estate remained in the family possession of the Lords of Bohlen. When the last owner, Adolf von Wolff-Bohlen, died childless in 1935, ownership passed to Dr. Alexander von Quistorp, who managed it until its forced expropriation by the communists in 1945. After 1945, apartments were set up in the manor house. In 1992, Wilfried Wietfeldt from Celle bought the estate and established a hotel in the manor house.
