Brietzke Manor

To be privately owned

Gutshaus Brietzke, a manor and estate house, is located in the village of Brietzke in Jerichower Land, Saxony-Anhalt. It is now used as a private residence.

History+

Originally, Brietzke was a domain outpost of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg until the end of the Thirty Years' War. After its secularization and transfer to Brandenburg-Prussia, it developed into a royal domain outpost. In the 18th century, the manor house served as the seat of the Royal Domain Office of Loburg. In 1831, the knight's estate came into the possession of the von Barby family, who resided in Loburg, through inheritance.
