Bülowssiege Manor

The origins of the estate date back to 1670, when Otto von Schwerin acquired manorial rights in Fürstenwerder. These rights were only redeemed by the Brandenburg Rentenbank in 1854. As part of the separation, Johann Christoph Hermann von Schwerin began purchasing agricultural land in Fürstenwerder in 1826 and consolidated it into an outwork. Around 1829/30, he had an estate complex built on the unsettled farmland, initially named “Frieden” (Peace). In 1834, it was renamed “Bülowssiege” in honor of the Prussian General Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Bülow.
