Around 1650, a dairy farm known as Dasselbusch existed on this site. The current manor house was built around 1790 as a single-story, eleven-bay brick building on a fieldstone foundation. The vaulted cellars are still remnants of the original predecessor building. In 1816, the courtyard side received a flat, classical triangular gable. The estate complex also included two barns and a stable. From 1816, the estate was leased by hereditary tenure and privatized after the First World War. Notable owners included Georg Ludwig Moritz Kettner from 1816, followed by Georg Adolf Ludwig Kettner until 1918, as well as Adolf Schliemann and later Axel Schliemann until 1945. After the Second World War, the manor house served as emergency accommodation for displaced persons.
