History+
The ownership of Dahlwitz changed frequently. A transfer occurred in 1716 when Carl Hildebrand Freiherr von Canstein sold the property to the Privy Councillor Freiherr Samuel von Marschall. The current manor house was constructed between 1855 and 1856. It was designed and built by architect Friedrich Hitzig on behalf of Carl Heinrich von Treskow. After the end of World War II in 1945, the then owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. In 2011, the manor house underwent restoration and renovation.
