To be privately owned
Demzin Manor

The current appearance of the manor house was significantly shaped by Max Graf von Hahn. He had it renovated in 1872. Initials and the year of construction are affixed above the right entrance of the house. In the early 14th century, the estate belonged to the monastery of Dargun. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
The North German poet Fritz Reuter, under the then tenant Franz Rust, attempted to learn the profession of a farmer between 1842 and 1845. Today, tenants are housed in the building, and an information board commemorating Fritz Reuter has been placed in front of the right entrance.
