History of the Manor House+

The estate was owned by the von Schurff family from 1722-1760 and by the von der Lancken family from 1773-1839. In 1847, ownership transferred to the von Meyenn family, who built the current manor house around 1850 on the walls of a predecessor building. In 1888, ownership transferred to the von Flotow family. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Thereafter, the manor house served as a cooperative store, kindergarten, and residential building. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Karin and Manfred Mende acquired the manor house and established a gastronomic business. In 2012, a change of ownership took place.
