From the 17th Century to the Present Day
The two-story rectangular building in the former village of Geisendorf was built at the end of the 17th century. The building received its classical elements during a redesign around 1800. Owners included Friedrich Ehrenreich von Muschwitz. Today, the manor house is owned by the Vattenfall Group, which had it restored in 1995 and converted into the Cultural Forum of Lusatian Lignite. The village itself had to make way for the lignite opencast mine.
