Genzkow Manor

The manor house was built by Otto Friedrich von Bardeleben in the second half of the 18th century. Later, the estate was owned by the brothers Carl Heinrich Kurt and Leopold Anton Ludwig Otto von Bardeleben, who sold it in 1818 to Carl Bernhard Ulrich von Behr. Friedrich Franz von Cramon, who married the widow von Bardeleben, leased the estate from his stepson Karl Gustav Maximilian von Behr and managed it from 1831 to 1849. After that, ownership changed frequently. Amtsrat Schröder zu Netzka, Theodor Holldorf, Carl Siemers and his son Richard are named as owners. Richard Siemens sold the estate in 1905 to Otto Diederichs, whose widow managed it until her forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945. After this, the estate was divided among local farmers, who formed an LPG (Agricultural Production Cooperative) in 1958. After the reunification, the manor house became municipal property. At the end of the 20th century, some restoration work took place. Today, some rooms can be rented by the villagers to hold their celebrations.
