The manor house was built by Otto Friedrich von Bardeleben in the second half of the 18th century. Later, the estate was owned by the brothers Carl Heinrich Kurt and Leopold Anton Ludwig Otto von Bardeleben, who sold it in 1818 to Carl Bernhard Ulrich von Behr.
