Gnewikow Manor

The origins of the Gnewikow estate date back to the late Middle Ages, when it was owned by the von Woldeck family. In 1844, the property passed into bourgeois hands, acquired by the Jacobs family. Construction of the original single-story manor house began around 1800. An expansion took place in 1870, when the building was raised and given a late-classical facade. After the end of World War II in 1945, the then owners were dispossessed and had to leave the estate. A reconstruction in 2003 and 2004 enabled its current use.
